Terms & Conditions

1. Secret Street Tours is a trading name of Secret Street Tours Company Limited by Guarantee, a company registered in Ireland under registration number 637132 and having its registered address at apt. 48, the Windmill, Windmill Lane, Dublin 2 (“Secret Street Tours”). Any reference to “we” or “us” in these terms and conditions is a reference to Secret Street Tours.

2. Please read these terms and conditions carefully in advance of purchasing a ticket or attending a tour.

3. These Terms are deemed accepted by you when you purchase a ticket for any tour offered for sale by Secret Street Tours and/or by attending a tour operated by, or on behalf of, Secret Street Tours.

4. Once full payment for the ticket(s) requested by you is received by us, we will confirm your booking and send confirmation of your booking by e-mail. A booking can only be considered confirming once we have received payment and send confirmation to you. You are required to print a copy of the e-mail and bring it with you on the tour to prove that you have purchased the ticket(s). We accept not responsibility for incorrect email addresses being provided or for emails not being delivered to the specified email address. If you do not receive confirmation within 12 hours of making the booking, please contact us and ask us to resend the email confirmation. We do not send out physical tickets.

5. The booking confirmation will set out details of the location at which the tour is to start and the time that you are required to attend at that location. It is your responsibility to meet your tour guide in accordance with the details set out in the booking confirmation. Tours will leave the meeting point promptly at the scheduled time. Secret Street Tours will not be liable if the tour leaves prior to you arriving at the meeting point, or if the tour finishes after the estimated time of completion.

6. We do not accept any responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to you or your property while taking part in the tour, nor do we accept any responsibility or the theft, loss or damage to personal belongings at any time during the duration of the tour. This does not exclude liability where any death or injury is caused by the negligence of Secret Street Tours.

7. In no circumstance shall we be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, data, revenue, business opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or reputation whether in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of or in connection with this agreement or purchases made through this website, save where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

8. In any event, our liability to you is limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s) that you have purchased.

9. Secret Street Tours may hold you liable for any loss, expenses (including, but not limited to, reasonable legal costs), losses and damages arising from or incurred by reason of any claims, demands, actions that arise as a result of your breach of these terms and conditions or failure to comply with directions given to you by your tour guide or other employee or agent of Secret Tours.

10. All bookings are final once confirmation is sent from Secret Street Tours to you. In the event that you are unable to attend the tour or otherwise wish to cancel, no refund will be provided to you. Subject to availability, we will endeavour to transfer your ticket to another tour however this is entirely at the discretion of Secret StreetTours.

11. Sensible shoes should be worn as you will be required to walk / stand for approximately 90 minutes and some of the surfaces are cobbled or uneven. Please take particular care when the surface is went or icy.

12. Tours go in all weather so please dress appropriately and bring an umbrella if required.

13. If one of our tours is required to be rescheduled, changed, moved or cancelled, we will give you the option of either retaining or exchanging your tickets for an alternative date/tour or alternatively claiming a full refund.

14. If for any reason you are entitled to a refund, we will refund your booking in the same way that you made payment. Refunds will only be given on the ticket price and not on any other costs (such as booking fees) incurred.

15. We reserve the right to change the itinerary of any of our tours at any time and at our discretion without notice to you.

16. If anyone is under the influence of alcohol or drugs when arriving at the tour starting point, we reserve the right to not take them on the tour. If this occurs, no refund will be offered.

17. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with Secret Street Tour’s Data Protection Policy.

18. The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law and the Irish Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in resolving any disputes.
