Do your Secret Street Tours run in all weather?
Secret Street Tours will run in all weather conditions. Please make sure to check the forecast on the day of your tour and dress accordingly.
How long is a Secret Street Tour?
The walking tours last roughly between 60 - 90 minutes. This depends on on which tour you book.
Should we tip our guide?
This is entirely your choice, it will certainly be appreciated by your guide. Guides keep 100% of any tips.
How large are Secret Street Tours groups?
We want to make sure you have the best tour experience so we accept a maximum of 20 people per tour. Please note this limit can be extended for group bookings.
Do we need to be a group of 20 to book a tour?
No, you can join any of our available tours. However, if you would like to make a group booking please reach out to bookings@secretstreettours.org
Where does the money go ?
Everyone at Secret Street Tour is a volunteer, apart from our guides. Your money will go to one of three places.
1) Directly to our guides in wages.
2) Directly to our guides’ long term savings fund.
3) To cover operational costs.
How do I recognise the guide?
Each of our guides have a profile on our website.
Are Secret Street Tours suitable for all ages?
Yes, we can walk at your pace. Please let us know beforehand if you have any mobility concerns.
Are Secret Street Tours wheelchair accessible ?
Yes, our Liberties tour is wheelchair accessible.
What do I need to bring for my tour?
The Irish weather can be unpredictable, we would always recommend to check the forecast on the day of your tour. We recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring waterproof gear.
Also please feel free to bring water and snacks.
Do you offer private group tours?
Yes, we are happy to accommodate private or group tours. Please reach out to us directly via our Contact Us form on our website.
How can I cancel my walking tour?
If you can’t make the tour you’ve booked, we’re more than happy to reschedule your booking with at least 24h notice. If you wish cancel your booking, no refund will be issued. For more details regarding our cancellation policy you can review our Terms & Conditions.
Do Secret Street Tours ever cancel a tour?
In the very unlikely event that we have to cancel a tour we will notify you by email or telephone and offer you the choice of switching to another day or a full refund. In instances in which tours have not met their running capacity (4 full paying adults) we may cancel/reschedule the tour. This is to ensure we can pay our guides.
